With the opening of the new Red Mall and Public Transport Interchange in October 2004 MetroCentre is once again Europe's largest shopping and leisure centre and 'it's all yours'.

Nowhere in Europe have you got more retailers, restaurants and leisure attractions for your complete enjoyment.

At the start of October our current retailers were joined by new national and international brands giving you a complete shopping package to be proud of. New retailers in the new Red Mall include some brands that cannot be found anywhere else in the North East or indeed in the UK.

New retailers include:

• Debenhams department store on three levels which will be one of the largest in the UK. Departments will include male, female, childrenswear, homeware, health and beauty and a mix of exclusive own brands including ‘Designers at Debenhams'
